Here's the place to find out all about what Storyplaytime is, where events are happening, and how to book your very own session!
What is Storyplaytime?
Storyplaytimes are fun activity sessions for the under 5s and their grown ups.
Sessions engage and delight with songs, games and activities, inspired by a story or theme.
We always end with some interactive storytelling - so everyone can join in the actions!
What's great about Storyplaytimes?
They're fun and they bring stories to life
They're designed for under 5s, so there's no having to sit still for too long!
Activities are easy to follow with few props - so you can have fun re-creating them at home
The activities support children's development (More info here)
They encourage teamwork and playing together (for children and grown ups!)
and here's what a couple of bookers think is great about them...
What sort of stories and themes are there?
Book-themed - like Eric Carle's The Very Hungry Caterpillar or The Ahlberg's Peepo!
Story-themed - like Cinderella or The Billy Goats Gruff
Idea-themed - like Nature or Home... or anything else you can think of!
Where do Storyplaytimes happen?
We're based in Suffolk, but travel nationally, so pretty much wherever they're wanted, including:
- Pre-schools and Nurseries - Book Festivals - Birthday Parties - Weekly sessions
You can clickhere to find out about current events
Who's involved?
Storyplaytime is run by Justine de Mierre - a storyteller, actress, theatre director and, probably most importantly, mum!
